This Saturday night’s special guest is the incredibly talented Peter Asher! He is a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) which is an honor given to him by Queen Elizabeth II.
Peter Asher started off as a child actor and later went on to be a founding member of the pop duo “Peter and Gordon.” Peter and Gordon Waller had many great songs including “A World Without Love,” “Nobody I Know,” and “True Love Ways.”
Peter is passionate about the entertainment industry and it shows as he has worn many metaphorical hats being a producer, a manager for artists, and a vocalist. Peter managed both James Taylor and Linda Ronstadt. Some of Linda’s top albums include “Simple Dreams” and “Heart Like A Wheel.”
Peter held the position of Senior Vice President for Sony Music Entertainment for a few years. He later became the Commander of the Order of the British Empire where his duties were to the British Music Industry.
