Surfs Up! – Our Special Guest is Al Jardine!
Al Jardine is an original and co-founder of The Beach Boys – he is the band’s rhythm guitarist and also does lead vocals. Al did the lead vocals on “Help Me Rhonda”, “Then I Kissed Her” and “Come Go With Me”. He released a solo studio album in 2010 –“Postcard From California” and he was inducted Into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1988 as a member of The Beach Boys.
Al will leave the beach for awhile and go on tour. The “Family and Friends” Tour. Joining Al on stage – Carnie and Wendy Wilson of “Wilson Phillips’” (the daughters of Brian Wilson). “Family and Friends” will also feature Matt Jardine (Al’s son) who has also toured with The Beach Boys and Brian Wilson.
