Hello everybody!
This past weekend I had the honor of performing at a fund raiser called “Gateway Celebrity Fight Night”, with hosts DAVID FOSTER and the Queen of Country music, REBA McENTIRE! Along with these great singers and entertainers KATHARINE MCPHEE ,MICHAEL BOLTON, THE TENORS, VONZELL SOLOMON, JORDIN SPARKS, CEELO GREEN, and PITBULL! All of us proudly helping to raise millions of dollars for Gateway’s cancer research.
So, I thought since our audience here at 77WABC has grown so much, and with overwhelming requests, to revisit and air the DAVID FOSTER show again! And because of the show’s overwhelming success in its first year, therefore causing an expanding growth of our audiences in numbers, we have new listeners who have never heard this incredible two hours…we decided to rebroadcast the DAVID FOSTER show, where David takes us on an unbelievable 2 hour musical journey by playing his incredible music and productions, and gives us the backstory of the making of all of these iconic hits that feature an unbelievable roster of fosters recording artists.
With such greats as David’s wife KATHARINE McPHEE, WHITNEY HOUSTON, JOSH GROBAN, PETER CETERA, MICHAEL BUBLÉ, ANDREA BOCELLI, CHICAGO, EARTH, WIND & FIRE, and his first group SKYLARK, that recorded one of my favorite songs “Wildflower”! Yes, it is safe to say that our guest DAVID FOSTER, his music, and his productions are easily the soundtracks of our generation! So, for those of you who wanted it again, here it is! And for all of our new listeners in New York City and across the nation, and around the world who never got a chance to hear this incredible show…here it is! And yes, because of streaming we are heard across America and around the world ,so here is our two hour special this Saturday night with the great DAVID FOSTER himself, and his music and productions that has won him 16 Grammy’s, along with 27 Grammy nominations!
