Most people never heard of the EGOT, it is VERY rare when someone wins the EMMY, GRAMMY, OSCAR, and TONY…all four to one person! My friend RITA MORENO is one of those people, as you can imagine that is a rare accomplishment .. Very rare!!!!!
But to win just one of those awards is also a huge honor and accomplishment, and so on my show this Saturday Night, all the music and all the artists we will play have won one or multiple of any one of these four amazing awards, which makes an artist the Best of the Best! So, here are a few of the “Best of the Best” on Saturday night with us: THE BEATLES, THE ROLLING STONES, RAY CHARLES, ARETHA FRANKLIN, FRANK SINATRA, DEAN & SAMMY, BOBBY DARIN, DIANA ROSS, LADY GAGA, FRANKIE VALLI, GARTH BROOKS & TRISHA YEARWOOD, LIONEL RICHIE, BARBRA STREISAND, THE TEMPTATIONS, THE FOUR TOPS…just to name a few, as they say!
