The Question Is Whether Weather Affects Music!

___________________________________

Hello friends!

My guest on our show this Saturday night is my friend RANDY EDELMAN, one of the most awarded motion picture composer who has written some of the greatest film scores of all time! And a song writer of million sellers such as “Weekend in New England” for BARRY MANILOW. Randy is, without question, a musical GENIUS! Speaking of genius’s, it is said that BEETHOVEN wrote Symphony No. Six “Pastoral” during a thunderstorm which he proclaimed inspired this work of greatness in the world of classical music . The same seems to have inspired every one from VIVALDI to TCHAIKOVSKY.

It is true that weather indeed played a part in many of the great legendary classical music composers. RANDY EDELMAN has no idea that I will ask him this question….Whether weather ever does affect his musical compositions? While composing film scores or writing songs, like when he wrote “Weekend In New England” for
BARRY MANILOW. You know, whenever I hear that great song, I picture a rainy, cold, and cloudy day in Boston.

So I thought I would ask him if it was raining when he wrote that song! Being that there have been studies that many of the great Classical composers were inspired by weather.

Like I mentioned before, Randy also is one of the most awarded Classical composers of film scores…Every thing from the dramatic film “Dragonheart”, to the comedic films such as “Billy Madison” to “My Cousin Vinny”. Some of his other films include are “The Mask”, “Beethoven”, and “Ghost Busters 2 “…just to name a few!

So, join me and RANDY EDELMAN this Saturday night, hear his music and hear his answers to my question on whether weather ever affects his incredible work! RIGHT HERE ON MUSIC RADIO 77WABC…THE MOST POWERFUL, MOST ICONIC, MOST HISTORICAL RADIO STATION IN THE NATION!
