The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney & Ringo Starr Are Recording Music Together

2-22-stones

The British Invasion is making a comeback, this time with just one record!

The surviving members of The Beatles are reportedly going to play a role in The Rolling Stones upcoming album and rock fans everywhere are VERY excited.

According to multiple sources, Paul McCartney, 80, and Ringo Starr, 82 will be featured on the upcoming album with McCartney playing bass and Starr playing drums, where they tracked their parts at a recording studio in Los Angeles.

This isn’t the first Stones x Beatles collaboration, as The Beatles and The Rolling Stones have been acquaintances for years, knowing each other for well over 60 years with the Stones first hit being a cover of the Beatles ‘I Wanna Be Your Man’ back in 1963, McCartney singing back up on some of their tracks and even doing live performance collaborations over the years.

As of now, it is unclear if Starr and McCartney will be on the same tracks, or if the recordings will make it onto the final track list- but the idea of such legendary names joining forces is iconic in itself.
