Attention classic rock and metalheads everywhere- there is something BIG coming our way this fall.
Rock legends Metallica, AC/DC, Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden, and Tool all posted on their social media platforms yesterday regarding ‘Power Trip’ which has been confirmed as a major rock festival taking place in October 2023.
The groups shared promos for the up and coming festival, which also lead fans to a ‘Power Trip’ social media page, which indicates that an official lineup announcement will be dropped tomorrow, March 30th.
While locations and lineups for Power Trip will more than likely be a mystery until tomorrow, (3/30) the current speculation is that the event will take place Oct. 6-8 at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, California, which is also where the infamous Coachella and Stagecoach festivals are held during the spring season.
According to reports, this festival is an extension of the ‘Desert Trip’ festival back in 2016 that hosted a major lineup of names including The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan and more.
