Country fans are getting a final goodbye with a very special upcoming release straight from the archives of the late, great Kenny Rogers.
According to reports, it has been confirmed that a posthumous Kenny Rogers album will be released to the public this summer.
The album, entitled Life Is Like a Song is said to feature duets from names including Dolly Parton, Jamie O’Neal and Kim Keyes.
The project as been curated and executive produced by Rogers widow, Wanda Rogers, with the release including 8 never before heard tracks from the legendary singer that were recording from 2008-2011. This is also the first project in over a decade from Rogers that is not released in relation to the holiday season.
Two songs from the upcoming release have already been released to the public “Love Is a Drug,” as well as Rogers’ incredible cover of The Temptations’ smash hit “I Wish It Would Rain.”
The album is set to be released via UMe on June 2nd, 2023.
