In this documentary, music legend Kenny Vance opens a portal through the decades as we join him in the close-knit community of the brilliantly distinctive artists who defined early rock & roll. This is the music that united a generation, bridging cultures, and forming the foundation of the music that endures today. WITH APPEARANCES BY: Eugene Pitt (Jive Five), Wally Roker (the Heartbeats), Arlene Smith (the Chantels), Cleveland Still (the Dubs), Jimmy Merchant (Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers), Little Anthony & the Imperials, Jay and the Americans. AND special performances by Phoebe Snow and Kenny Vance and the Planotones.
