Looks like Parrotheads are going to have to wait on wastin’ away in Margaritaville.
Legendary Yacht Rock singer Jimmy Buffett was forced to cancel his concert this Saturday (May 20th) with his Coral Reefer band following an announcement from the singer himself stated that he was dealing with undisclosed health issues and will be rescheduling his show, which was slated to take place in Charleston, South Carolina at the Credit One Stadium.
Buffett took to his social media platforms and stated:
“These few words from Mark Twain about life changes, seemed perfect to pass on at this time. ‘Challenges,’ …make life interesting, however overcoming them is what makes life meaningful…I had a sudden change of plans this week that affected us all…Growing old is not for sissies, I promise you…I also will promise you that when I am well enough to perform, that is what I’ll be doing in the land of She-Crab soup.”
The ‘Margaritaville’ singer previously cancelled his last few shows back in 2022 for health issues as well.
Buffett’s fans have shown an outpouring of love for the singer, and we hope to see him jamming on stage again very soon!
