AC/DC’s Brian Johnson Surprises Fans With Unlikely Collaboration

6-12-acdc

AC/DC Vocalist Brian Johnson surprised fans with a killer performance-except this time it was at an unlikely place alongside an even more unlikely collaborator!

Johnson joined fellow Englishman, pop singer Sam Fender on stage at his show that took placer in Newcastle, England’s St. James’ Park this past Saturday (June 10).

The unlikely pair performed a few AC/DC classics together in a shocking collaboration, including “Back in Black” and “You Shook Me All Night Long”. While the collab may have seemed like a bit of an odd pairing, sources have reported that their is a special kinship between Johnson and Fender, as both musicians hail from the same place- the “Geordie” area of England which is located in the Tyneside region.

Before bringing Johnson out to perform the tracks, Fender spoke to his fans on stage saying “We cannot really do AC/DC songs without the one, the only Geordie legend, the singer of AC/DC, Brian Johnson!” This was Fender’s second night performing at the massive stadium venue- with a whopping 50,000-capacity. Also on stage alongside Johnson and Fender was Fender’s early and long-time guitar teacher Phil Martin.

We love seeing the generations of music come together, and can’t wait to see what else is in store for the future of rock n’ roll.
