The one and only Sir Paul McCartney is on a mission- to create one last and “final” Beatles song – but he confirmed that he will be using the controversial AI to make it happen.
The former Beatle confirmed that he has used AI to extract the voice of famed Beatle as well as McCartney’s songwriting partner, the late John Lennon, from a previous track to create an entirely new record.
McCartney referred to the project as “The Final Beatle’s Record” while doing an interview on Radio 4 earlier this week (June 13).
The 80-year-old Rock N’ Roll icon also went into detail explaining that Artificial Intelligence was able to “extricate” Lennon’s voice from the old demo recording to finish the soon to be released track.
According to reports, rumors have been swirling regarding just what we could expect from the release, with insiders speculating that it could be the finished versions of Lennon’s song “Now and Then,” also referred to as “I Don’t Want to Lose You” or “Miss You.”
McCartney confirmed that the final Beatles song will be released to the public later this year.
