Beloved rock legend Ozzy Osbourne as cancelled yet another show in leu of reoccurring health concerns.
According to recent reports, the 74-year-old rock icon announced this past Monday that he has cancelled his appearance at the Power Trip music festival, which is set to take place in October of this year.
In a statement shared with USA Today, Osbourne stated that he had “to make the decision to bow out of performing on Power Trip in October”. He continued, “Unfortunately, my body is telling me that I’m just not ready yet… and that he is “much too proud” to continue on with his first show in nearly five years without being fully prepared for it to happen.
It was confirmed that the “Crazy Train” singer would kick off performing again in Summer of 2024, but appeared to have jumped the gun optimism when it came to performing at Power Trip. Osbourne also shared that the band that will be replacing him on the lineup will be announced in the near future- explaining that the group are close, personal friends of the singer.
The new act will be performing alongside a slue of rock legends including names like Guns N’ Roses, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Metallica and Tool.
The festival is set to take place Oct. 6-8 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio.
