Hello everybody!
Maybe some of you remember that almost two years ago, I did a show featuring “THE GREAT AMERICAN SONGBOOK”! We played ROD STEWART’S album, and spent a night with singer and record producer STEVE TYRELL, who not only was ROD STEWART’S record producer for Rod’s mega-selling album of GREAT AMERICAN SONGBOOK albums, but has also sold millions of albums as a singer in his own right!
Well, this Saturday night, we continue THE GREAT AMERICAN SONGBOOK to find artists who recorded those great standards that would surprise you! For example, PAUL MCCARTNEY sings ““Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive” or CHER and ROD STEWART in a duet of “Bewitched, Bothered And Bewildered“. Or, how about BOB DYLAN singing “All Of Me”? Yes folks, I did say BOB DYLAN! And they all are GREAT recordings!
Then, we include those who started it all…MARTIN, SINATRA, BENNETT, and DARIN! This, I promise, is a radio keeper!!! So, please tune in this Saturday night for all of this and a SURPRISED guest!!!!
