This week on Sundays with Sinatra, Joe Piscopo revisits one of his all-time, favorite Frank Sinatra television specials. “A MAN AND HIS MUSIC II” !!!
This is a time when the great Chairman of the Board was doing regular TV specials.
Looking back, Mr. Sinatra’s first special on NBC won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Music Program, and a Peabody Award.
It was also nominated for two other Emmys, as well as a Golden Globe. (A Peabody!)
Frank Sinatra’s voice was in top form for these historic programs.
This week, Mr. S. opens with an incredible version of ‘Fly Me To The Moon’ to that extraordinary rendition of ‘The Most Beautiful Girl In The World’ to duets with Guest Star and in-her-own-right, superstar, Nancy Sinatra!
