Well hello FRANKIE VALLI fans and friends!
This is a night for you and a proud night for me! You see, FRANKIE and I met in 1961 at the Brooklyn Fox Theater! There were many major recording artists on the bill…people like JACKIE WILSON, ETTA JAMES, JOHNNY MATHIS, & SMOKEY ROBINSON…just to name a few! But, on that Labor Day Weekend in Brooklyn, a mega-star in the name of FRANKIE VALLI and his legendary group THE FOUR SEASONS were born…and I had the honor of being on that show and watched it happen!
So, this Saturday night, we will play the music and recordings of this great man and artist of ALL seasons! This great artist enjoyed his 90th birthday May 3rd, and still performing at that young age of 90, which does boggle people’s minds! AND at the same time on the day of his birthday, is recognized by finally receiving his star on the famous HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME!

So, this Saturday night, our mission is to do our part by celebrating FRANKIE VALLI’s 90th birthday with all of you by playing 2 solid hours of those Jersey boys and their legendary front man and mega star, FRANKIE VALLI, and his amazing body of work!
Let your ears adore him, and you can’t take your eyes and ears off Music Radio 77 WABC this Saturday night! AND, ROBBY ROBINSON, Frankie’s Musical Director and right-hand man for 46 years, and ARTIE SHCROECK, calls in! He is the man who wrote the arrangements to “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”, and even sings that most famous lick that the horns play on the record before everyone sings this famous hook… “I love you, Baby!”
All 10,000 in the arena audience sing it note for note! ARTIE also shares the story of how that came about, and how iconic it’s become! Also, LARRY BROWN, composer of THE FOUR SEASONS number one big hit record “C’mon Marianne” joins me to honor, love, and celebrate FRANKIE VALLI’S 90th Birthday, and recognize and applaud his brand new star on the HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME in Hollywood!
