This week on Sundays with Sinatra, we present Great Songs from Great Britain!
Frank Sinatra was touring in 1962 when he dropped by the CTS Studios in London to record ‘Sinatra Sings Great Songs from Great Britain.’
All of the songs on the LP are by British composers, performed with British musicians, and recorded in Britain, in the middle of a Mr. S. performance tour.
Lavishly arranged by Canadian-born, Robert Farnon.
This week’s album was suggested by our own ‘Janet from Jersey’ !
Also, we will swing with cuts from the 1957 brassy album, ‘A Swingin’ Affair’ !
Meticulously arranged by Mr. Nelson Riddle.
It’s Bulova Sundays with Sinatra !
