Five INCREDIBLE Radio years!! We will celebrate this Saturday Night, right here on Music Radio 77 WABC! One of the most powerful, most iconic, and the most historical radio station in the nation! I want to thank the owners of WABC,
MARGO & JOHN CATSIMATIDIS, for making this show possible, along with the leadership of
CHAD LOPEZ and EMILY PANKOW for these amazing Five years of radio joy! And most importantly, all of you our LISTENERS …yes, all of you! Who have stayed up wIth me every Saturday Night, and thereby making our show a GIANT success! I am now and forever grateful to all of you across the nation and around the world for your incredible support!!!!
And last but not least…COUSIN BRUCIE! The man who convinced WABC that I could do Radio! In fact, because of his word and backing , it made the powers that be here at WABC to have me join this incredible Radio Station Family
and the honor follow his “Cousin Brucie’s Saturday Night Rock & Roll Party” show…his show and this station we all grew up listening to!
OH, by the way, it happens to be the station that was the first to play our TONY ORLANDO & DAWN hit records! But now get this…this Saturday night I get a chance to play the hits of some of the MEGA stars who were guest interviews on my show throughout these five years and we also play great moments from those interviews. Some of these greats were even kind enough to remember and
call in their “CONGRATULATIONS”…Such as ADAM SANDLER, who was my very first guest on the show 5 years ago, followed by
Country King, KEITH URBAN, and many other calls as well! Oh, what a Saturday night it is this week! A dream come true show!
So please come live the dream with me and my brother DAVID Orlando, who has been with me for every song! Every interview! And every edit!!! And I believe someday he will have his own radio show for sure!
