This week on Bulova Sundays with Sinatra we celebrate Veteran’s Day with Frank Sinatra V-Discs!
Veterans Day is coming up and we wanted to show respect and appreciation to those who Served in the United States Military.
Host Joe Piscopo’s Dad served in the Second World War in the Inited States Army Air Corps.
And Frank Sinatra was steadfast in his dedication to all branches of the U.S. Military.
During WWII, a very young Frank Sinatra recorded what was then, 78 RPM records, that were shipped overseas exclusively for the men and women fighting the good fight overseas.
All those recordings were beautifully packaged as, ‘The Frank Sinatra V-Discs.’
We will hear those recordings – and for our friends listening in Great Britain, we will feature Mr. Sinatra in stellar form, at the Royal Festival Hall in London, England.
