ROCK & ROLL CALL๐๐โ๏ธ๐
PETULA CLARK began her highly successful journey more than eight decades ago as a child performer entertaining British troops. And now with more than 75 million records sold Petula continues her outstanding career.
In 1964 she recorded โDowntownโ, and the record shot to number one in the United States, earning her a Grammy Award and becoming her signature song. Followโup hits like โI Know a Place,โ โMy Love,โ and โDonโt Sleep in the Subwayโ confirmed her place as one of the decadeโs defining pop voices.
Petula Clark starred in film musicals including โFinianโs Rainbowโ opposite Fred Astaire and โGoodbye, Mr. Chipsโ with Peter OโToole, earning strong reviews and awards. She later went
on stage in major productions such as โThe Sound of Musicโ and โSunset Boulevard,โ while continuing to tour and release albums. Petula earned one of the longest active chart spans in pop history.
And now, the long awaited book – โIs That You, Petula?โ is her first full-length autobiography, published in 2025 by Ebury Spotlight (Penguin Random House UK). It is being promoted as her โfirst and onlyโ memoir.
We delightfully present a visit with this star – Petula Clark will be our first guest for 2026. Happy New Year Cousins.
