Hello Cousins!
Our Special guest this week is Lugee Alfredo Giovanni Sacco. No that’s not a band – it’s actually Lou Christie. That was his name before Lightning Lou changed it. He was born in Pennsylvania and grew up in Pittsburg.
Lou is a very successful singer-songwriter whose smash hits include “Lightning Strikes” “Two Faces Have I” and “I’m Gonna Make You Mine”. His songs all topped the Charts and continue to be among the most requested songs on our shows. One of his songs “Rhapsody In The Rain” caused a big stir and was banned on many radio stations- due to the storyline and lyrics.
The lyrics were eventually changed to fit formats. “Rhapsody” happens to be my favorite Lou Christie song. Lou continues to headline live shows and nobody has ever duplicated his amazing stage energy. Lou Christie is a winner! Join the Cuz as he welcomes Lou this Saturday 5/21 to WABC MusicRadio.
