He’s a Singer, Songwriter and Musician – also the founding member of “The Lovin’ Spoonful”.
He’s John Sebastian – but the story doesn’t start with The Spoonful- it starts at Woodstock- with an amazing almost unreal event.
John Sebastian actually lived this real life episode – we’ll talk about this when John visits us this Saturday.
His adventures continued – he was one of the original Mugwumps which split and formed the Mamas and The Papas and The Lovin’ Spoonful. Huge recording success followed for The Spoonful – “Do You Believe in Magic” (1965), “Daydream” (1966), “You Didn’t Have To Be So Nice” (1966), “Nashville Cats” (1966), “Summer In The City” (1966) and he scored a number one hit in 1976 – “Welcome Back”.
