We are celebrating Father’s Day with a Special visitor. – PAUL PETERSON. Paul started his show business career as a Mouseketeer on the Mickey Mouse Club, he was 10 years old. He appeared in several movies, but the Donna Reed Show gave him his star. Paul played teenager Jeff Stone on the ABC sitcom throughout the show’s eight seasons (1958 -1966).
Because of success on The Donna Reed Show, he received several recording offers – in 1962 , Paul performed “My Dad” on the TV show, he recorded it and it became a huge hit, climbing to number six on the charts. Today, “My Dad” has become a radio anthem for Father’s Day.
After his years as a child actor Paul went to college and received a degree in literature. He wrote and published sixteen adventure novels.
