ROCK & ROLL CALL 📞☎️📞
Making people feel good is the key to FELIX CAVALIERE’S career.
Felix is a singer, songwriter, keyboardist, record producer and one of the founding members of The Rascals.
Born November 29, 1942, in Pelham, New York, Felix studied piano from the age of six at the Allaire School of Music.
His career began with local bands and a stint at the Starlight Lounge backing Joey Dee and the Starliters before founding The Young Rascals in 1965, alongside Eddie Brigati, Dino Danelli, and Gene Cornish.
The Rascals quickly catapulted to fame, scoring three #1 U.S. hits: “Good Lovin’,” “Groovin’,” and “People Got to Be Free,” the latter written by Cavaliere as a statement on social justice. With thirteen Top 40 singles and five Top 20 albums, Felix Cavaliere helped shape the sound of “blue-eyed soul,” integrating pop, R&B, and later jazz and psychedelic elements into the Rascals’ music.
Felix’s illustrious career includes the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Songwriter Hall of Fame, Vocal Group Hall of Fame, Grammy Hall of Fame, and Musicians Hall of Fame.
Join the Cuz this Saturday (9/27/25) and let’s once again welcome that Rascal — FELIX CAVALIERE.
